Photo Page - Wrigley Winter Construction 2007
Wrigley Field’s playing surface went through a complete overhaul this off-season and a new drainage system was installed under the field.
The old Chicago Bears goalpost supports were dug up in the excavation. The Bears played at Wrigley from the 1920’s until the 1970’s.
The field is finished with just some cleanup needed around the warning track.
More work is being done on the park’s structure.
It looks like the upper deck is getting some new i-beam supports installed.
A fresh coat of paint is being applied as well.
